4. Special Instructions on using voice chat
Some of our games offer the possibility of communicating with other players using voice chat. The voice chat is provided by Vivox in the USA which is one of the world’s leading businesses for voice chat solutions.
If you use the voice chat function your IP address as well as your character’s ID number may be sent to the voice chat provider, the US-based Vivox. The content of your communications (“voice content”) will also be transferred to Vivox in the USA so that this content can be communicated to the players with whom you are conversing. This is compulsory part of using the voice chat function.
By using the voice chat function you automatically give your consent to the forwarding of the information detailed here to Vivox in the USA.
No personally identifiable information is transferred when using the voice chat function.
Voice content is saved by us and Vivox only if we are required to by law.
Please be aware that international data privacy standards can vary. The European Union assumes that the same standard does not always apply in the USA as it does within the European Union.
5. Objection to future correspondence
We will occasionally inform our customers about new products, events, upgrades and updates - mostly by newsletter.
